From Amsterdam Grit to Australian Coast

I’ve spent the last 20 years at the intersection of concept, craft, and technology. My career has been a journey through some of the world's most influential creative hubs, starting with a formative internship at Firstborn in New York City, maturing through the digital boom in Stockholm, and spending over a decade in Amsterdam running my own studio.

What defines my approach is a "founder’s mindset." Whether I’m part of a large multidisciplinary team for a global adidas launch or managing a small team of specialists for Dyson, I focus on bridging the gap between high-level strategy and the actual sweat of the craft. Being Hyper Island-educated and starting as a self-taught front-end developer and digital designer gave me a unique perspective: I don’t just see a visual; I see a system.

Today, I’ve traded the canals of Amsterdam for the coastline of New South Wales. My move to Australia with my wife and young son marks a new chapter, both personally and professionally. It’s here that I’ve launched Studio Godi l’onda, a name that reflects my philosophy of "savouring the wave."

I’m now focused on bringing that international experience to the Australian market, offering a boutique, intentional approach to brand and digital work. Whether I’m working as an embedded lead within a team or taking on a project from the ground up, my goal remains the same: creating work that matters for brands that have something real to say.
